Some things you never forget and I never forgot that one - I hope this site tells a different story.

Mr Stafford!
It was Mr Stafford who with murderous intent told me "You'll never make a professional artist". He was just one of a number (or, to be honest, most) of the teachers whom I failed to see to eye to eye with whilst at school.
I was never the most industrious of pupils - far too headstrong to be told what to do, believing I knew all and everything - the arrogance of youth, you might say.
Nevertheless, those words from my much put-upon art/form teacher, Mr Stafford, continue to motivate me to this day. Indeed, I hope that if he saw me today, it would be with pride - thank you for the inspiration!
Grateful thanks also go to legendary artist Drew Struzan who continues to inspire me to this day.
P.S. It would be remiss of me not to mention Mr Hancox, another talented, gifted art teacher who gave me the biggest thrashing I've ever had courtesy of a training shoe!
